Logoplaste is currently seeking a night shift Machine Operator to join the team in Mecosta, MI (USA).
Shift: 12-hour shifts, nights, 2-2-3 schedule, working 50% of the month!
Pay Rate: $22 plus $1 shift differential.
SUMMARY
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating site-specific equipment (injection molding, blow molding or extrusion) and meeting all production, quality and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and troubleshoot production equipment efficiently
* Set up, adjust, repair, and maintain machinery and processes
* Perform quality checks and complete production documentation
* Assist with mold changes, machine startups/shutdowns, and material handling
* Support preventative maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives
* Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and food safety standards
* Maintain production efficiency, reduce scrap, and support inventory control
Qualifications
* Experience in blow molding, injection molding, or extrusion preferred
* Knowledge of HDPE and/or PET manufacturing processes
* Forklift and warehouse experience preferred
* Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, SAP)
* Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools
* Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
