Machine OperatorM&C SPECIALTIES, an Illinois Tool Works (ITW) company, located in Southampton, PA, is seeking energetic and skilled MACHINE OPERATORS to join our team. Shift hours are 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Monday-Friday. We're looking for candidates with a focus on safety and quality with a positive attitude and mechanical aptitude.M&C offers competitive pay, based on skills and experience, and a comprehensive, generous benefits package designed to help employees care for themselves, their families, and their futures.New employees are eligible for the following benefits:Sign-on bonusHealth, prescription, dental and vision benefits on the first of the month following hire401(k) with company match immediately after hirecompany-paid life insurance and disability benefitsgenerous time-off benefits: 120 hours of vacation time per year to start (pro-rated in first year), 11 paid holidays per year, sick time.optional supplemental life insurance, tuition reimbursement, 3-to-1 matching gift to eligible charitiesMachine Operators are responsible for setting up and operating machines to die cut, slit, laminate and or print parts of a specified size or shape from various pressure sensitive and non-pressure sensitive materials.Essential Functions:Operating machine(s) to produce die cut parts of a specified size and shapeVerifying materials are correct and quantity of materials is adequateSetting up jobs by inserting tools into die area and locking into place; positioning material onto machine to ensure proper alignment with tooling; adjusting tension on mandrels as necessaryRequesting quality inspection at initial setup and at end of production runConducting quality checks during runMeasuring parts periodically to ensure correct dimensionsStripping waste material and checking depth of cut throughout job runRemoving parts and stacking according to size and shape or packing into box to be shippedCompleting appropriate documentation after running each jobComplying with all safety, quality and production procedures and standardsCleaning, picking up, and sweeping work area to eliminate safety hazardsRequired skills and experience:Minimum 1-year of experience and/or training on production machineryCommitment to safety and supporting an accident-free workplaceA customer-first mindsetAbility to adhere to M&C's quality standards and current good manufacturing practicesAbility to produce quality parts, meet production deadlines, and achieve resultsGood mechanical aptitude as well as basic math and measurement skillsAbility to read and understand written work instructions and printsWillingness to learn various machinesEffective communication skillsAbility to lift and/or move objects up to 50 poundsAbility to handle and work with magnetic diesExcellent attendanceHigh school diploma or GEDITW M&C Specialties is an equal opportunity / affirmative action employer.
