Machine OperatorAdams Thermal Produce world-class components for engine cooling systems while working on either a team-led production line or an individual work center. Operators are responsible for safely operating machinery, maintaining quality standards, and meeting production goals.Primary Responsibilities:Operate production line machinery and perform product assembly.Troubleshoot production equipment and resolve minor production issues.Perform machine and equipment changeovers as needed.Inspect parts and maintain quality standards by making machine adjustments when necessary.Reject parts that do not meet specifications.Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).Complete daily production and quality logs.Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on machinery.Communicate with operators on other shifts regarding production and equipment.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Lock out and shut down equipment when required.Assist maintenance technicians and manufacturing engineers as needed.Help train new operators when requested.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED preferred.Basic reading, writing, and math skills.Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is beneficial but willingness to learn is highly valued.Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to learn new equipment and manufacturing processes.Physical Requirements:Stand on concrete for 10-hour shifts.Frequently lift materials up to 50 pounds.Work in a manufacturing environment where temperatures may exceed 90°F.Wear required PPE, including steel-toe boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
