You'll work as part of our production team operating and monitoring specialized furnaces used to manufacture high-performance metal products.What You'll DoAs a Machine Operator in Sintering, you'll help operate the furnaces and equipment that turn materials into finished products that meet our quality standards.During a typical shift, you'll:Safely operate and monitor production furnaces and related equipmentPrepare furnaces and materials for productionSelect the correct materials for loading based on production requirementsSafely load and unload parts and materialsVisually inspect parts before and after processingMonitor furnace speed and temperatureRecord operating information and make adjustments when neededInspect finished parts to make sure they meet specificationsLearn to use measuring tools such as micrometers, dial calipers, and dial indicatorsIdentify production orders and maintain accurate product traceabilityFollow established safety procedures, including procedures for power interruptions and furnace operationsComplete required production and inspection recordsKeep your work area clean, safe, and organizedHelp with other production activities as neededNever used a micrometer or dial caliper?
