Machine OperatorAmphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Machine Operator to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY.The key responsibilities of the Machine Operator include, but are not limited to:Transport work-in-progress (W.I.P.) materials, supplies, and product as necessary between work flow centers (WFC).Retrieve, use, and maintain all tools, racks, fixtures, and gauges required to perform the necessary tasks within the WFC.Check produced parts against inspection standards for the operations being completed.Perform routine preventative maintenance on machines to the extent of ability.Maintain the order and cleanliness of the WFCSalary: $29.85 per hour (with scheduled annual increases) Paid WeeklyLocation Sidney, NY 30 minute drive from Binghamton, NY 20 minute drive from Oneonta, NYThe person The key skills and qualities of a Machine Operator at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:Experience operating machinery in a production manufacturing environment.Able to follow written and verbal instruction.Able to read/interpret diagrams, blueprints, schematic drawings.Willing to work any required shift.High school diploma or equivalency is required.Preferred requirements:Formal training in operation of CNC production equipment.2-5 years of on-the-job production machine operation.Amphenol Aerospace Operations has been a leader in designing and manufacturing electrical components for the aviation and commercial airplane industry for over 100 years.We pride ourselves for being customer-centric, accountable, reliable, and enthusiastic in all that we do.
