Machine OperatorJoin Amcor as a Slitting Operator and play a key role in producing high-quality laminated products that protect what's important. You'll operate slitting rewinders, ensure safety and quality standards, and contribute to a team focused on collaboration and continuous improvement.Schedule:Shift: Nights Monday – Thursday, 6:45 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.Compensation & Benefits: Value, RecognizedWe reward great work with:Pay: $22.50-$27.93/hour + $1.50/hour night shift premiumOvertime: 1.5x pay for hours over 40 per week401(k): Dollar-for-dollar match up to 8%Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage starting on day onePaid time off and holidaysGrowth and development opportunitiesWhat you'll do:Set up and operate laminators to meet quality and productivity goalsTroubleshoot lamination, web handling, and equipment issuesInspect adhesion quality, identify defects, and ensure customer specifications are metFollow all safety and chemical handling proceduresComplete required documentation and reportsAssist with training team membersCommunicate with supervisors, maintenance, and co-workersMaintain housekeeping standards and support process improvementsPreferred qualifications:2+ years of web handling experience; adhesive or extrusion lamination preferredStrong troubleshooting and mechanical skillsAbility to distinguish minor imperfections and color accuracyComputer proficiency and willingness to learn new systemsForklift certification (or ability to obtain)Commitment to teamwork, safety, and qualityPhysical Requirements:Lift up to 50 lbs.Stand for long periods (steel-toed shoes required)Perform climbing, crouching, and reachingWhy Amcor?Be part of a global leader while working in a team-driven environment at our Asheville plant.
