Machine OperatorElwood Staffing is seeking a dedicated and efficient Machine Operator for a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment. AAM provides engine, transmission, driveline, and safety-critical components for light, commercial, and off-highway vehicles through their metal forming business unit.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Machine Operator Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 17.51 / hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredVarious shifts availableOperate and monitor various production machinery according to established guidelines and safety protocols.Perform hands-on tasks including loading, unloading, and positioning materials.Maintain a brisk production pace to meet daily output targets and deadlines.Conduct routine quality checks on products to ensure compliance with specifications.Work effectively as part of a team, communicating any issues or concerns promptly.Be open and available to work substantial overtime hours as needed to support production demands.Machine Operator Qualifications:Previous hands-on manufacturing experience.Must be able to speak, read, and write fluently in English.Ability to consistently lift up to 45 lbs; comfort with repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs is a plus.Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 12 hours per shift.Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Must be okay working in a hot & dirty environmentMust be okay with rotating task as needed to meet production needsWillingness to work significant overtime.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
