Machine OperatorJob Summary: As a Machine Operator/ saw operator, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of various industrial machines. Your primary responsibility will be to set up, operate, and monitor equipment to produce high-quality products. Utilizing your expertise in CNC cutting machines, press brakes, drills, saws, and other industrial tools, you will contribute to the smooth flow of production and meet strict quality standards.Major Duties & Responsibilities:Set up and calibrate machines according to specifications, while operating machines to produce precise and consistent outfit.Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to meet product requirements.Conduct regular maintenance and inspections to ensure machines operate at peak efficiency.Adhere to production schedules and meet deadlines to achieve production targetsEssential Skills & Experience:High school diploma or GED6-12 months of related work experienceExperience with CNC cutting machines, press brakes, drills, and saws preferredProficient in reading blueprints and interpreting safety rules and proceduresFamiliar with general fabrication and assembly toolsStrong mathematical ability for basic calculations and understanding instructions in written or verbal form.Pay: $23-$26/hr depending on experienceSafety & Environmental Factors: All employees are expected to adhere to the company’s safety policies to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
This role involves working under extreme hot or cold conditions and requires the physical ability to stand for the entire shift, use hands for various tasks, ascend stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear. Team members must occasionally lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
