Machine OperatorThe Machine Operator sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Uses computer-controlled equipment to select, position and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines. Controls and adjusts machine settings to complete simple tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion.Essential Job Functions:Maintains a safe work environment by following standards and proceduresOperate various machines within the cellMaintains a clean machine and organized work area.Performs basic daily and preventative maintenance and checks on machinesMeets daily production schedules by following proceduresAdaptable to cell and team concepts as well as cross-trainingSees that all safety guards are in place and in good conditionInspects work in progress using equipment necessary and outlined in work instructions.Takes ownership and responsibility for quality of workAll other duties as assignedWhat We Are Looking For:High School Diploma or GED requiredExperience in manufacturing and quality control methods (ISO9001, AS9100 etc.) highly desiredMust be able to communicate fluently in English, both written and verbalComputer skills (MS Office) and experience in ERP systems preferredAbility to read and follow work orders, set up data sheets, and measurement instructionsCapable of using hand tools and general inspection tools effectivelyDetail oriented with good time management and organization skillsProficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processesCapable of using measuring instruments, i.e.
