Machine OperatorThe Machine Operator is responsible for operating a bagging machine and other packaging equipment to ensure accurate and efficient packaging of products. This role includes regular quality checks, equipment setup, and general production support. Cross-training is provided, and associates may be assigned additional duties as needed.Key Responsibilities:Operate bagging machine, including roll changes and machine set upPerform weight and volume checks every 15 minutes to ensure accuracyComplete daily production paperwork and logs accurately and on timeMaintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and hygiene standardsMonitor packaging for; proper fill levels and seals, legible production lot codes, correct palletizing/wrapping & top sheet applicationInform supervision of any equipment issues, production delays, or personnel concernsParticipate in cross-training for other tasks and equipment operation as neededLift up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shiftQualifications:Previous experience in a production or packaging environment preferredAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasksWillingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
