Turret OperatorWe are seeking a skilled Turret Operator to join our team.
The role involves setting up and operating turret machines to carry out various machining operations such as drilling, tapping, and reaming.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate turret machines to perform drilling, tapping, reaming, and other machining operations.Load raw materials and ensure proper alignment and clamping of workpieces.Monitor machine operations and make minor adjustments to maintain accuracy.Inspect finished parts for dimensions, quality, and defects using measuring tools.Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform routine machine maintenance.Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).Complete production documentation and report any issues to supervisors.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma or GED required.1-2+ years of experience setting up and operating machines, or specialized training and/or certification may be required.Ability to read and interpret blueprints or drawings.Proficiency in English for reading, writing, and speaking.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with hand and power tools.General labor skills including labeling, turret, and press brake operations.Why Work Here?Join a company that provides solutions to complex problems across various industries, from automotive to aerospace.
