Machine Operator

Machine OperatorAs a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for fabricating assemblies and parts for products, making changes to existing products according to engineering documents and production standards. You will set up and lay out work using fixtures and guides to fabricate parts and assemblies, arrange parts for fabrication and staging processes, and review finished assemblies and parts to ensure accuracy against drawings and BOMs. Your role includes reporting fabrication issues, assisting in resolutions, rejecting defective parts and materials, and ensuring the safe and careful use, treatment, and maintenance of tools and equipment. Participation in cross-functional meetings and troubleshooting complex issues are also part of the role. It provides a professional setting where safety and quality are prioritized.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
