Machine Operator - RecoilerMachine Operator - Recoiler (Night Shift 7:00pm - 7:00am) $20.00/hr. + $1.00/hr. Shift DifferentialWe are currently looking for a Machine Operator- Recoiler to be based out of Byesville, OH.

Reporting to the Value Stream Manager, the Machine Operator will be responsible for operating machines/set of machines, which includes set up, operation, inspection and adjustment of large machinery. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing simple or routine set-ups, operating computer console as needed, using simple measurement instruments to check work, completion of necessary paperwork, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.Machine Operator's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Read and comprehend production Standard Work, all Safety procedures, and Maintenance instructionsOperate and observe machinery during productionIdentify acceptable or unacceptable product quality to customer requirements and quality standardsCollaborate with co-workers, supervisors, and managers to achieve productivity and site goalsAll associates must embrace and foster and environment that supports our core values of Accountability, Teamwork, Integrity, Respect, and ExcellenceWhat you'll bring:High School diploma or equivalentThe ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructionsGood understanding of basic math required for quick and accurate counting and calculationsAttention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organizationMust be adaptable to changes in the work environment, comfortable with multiple competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events in a calm and logical mannerMust be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to lift, pull or push at least 50 lbsMust be willing and able to work overtimeWithin 3 months, you'll:Complete any required trainingHave developed relationships within the departmentBe well-versed in priorities and the importance of your role to daily operationsAtkore is a six-time Great Place to Work© certified company and a four-time Top Workplaces USA award winner! Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time.
