Machine Operator / Production Worker

Hiring 1st & 2nd Shift Machine Operator / Production Workers in Red Lion, PA!We are seeking dedicated individuals for 1st and 2nd shift general production roles at our main facility. As part of the team, you will utilize hand tools and a tape measure to assemble components of flooring and drop ceiling products. Although all lifting is performed as a team, candidates should be comfortable lifting 30-35lbs independently a few times per shift.ResponsibilitiesInspect panels or parts to ensure specifications meet quality standards while maintaining production standards.Read and adhere to Manufacturing Operating Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures.Accurately complete production reporting and quality paperwork as required.Utilize banding equipment and hand-jacks for proper movement or storage of product or material.Place materials in machines or conveyors in prescribed manner and sequence.Perform trimming, indexing, or cutting procedures as required.Keep supervisor informed of any equipment malfunctions.Follow all policies, procedures, and work instructions, including safety manuals.Maintain awareness and report any quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions.Essential SkillsProficiency with hand tools and tape measure.Experience in general labor and production assembly.Ability to use power tools effectively.Experience with machine operation is advantageous.Knowledge of micrometers and calipers is a plus.Shifts1st: Monday - Friday (6am - 2:30pm)2nd: Monday - Friday (2pm - 10:20pm)Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Red Lion, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.75 - $18.35/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
