Machine Operator/Production OperatorSmithville, TennesseeType: TemporaryManufacturing/ProductionSalary: $18 Per HourJob DescriptionMachine Operator/Production OperatorOperate machines completing one or more processes toward the manufacturing of components. Perform as an active team member in supporting and performing all the tasks within a cell group.Responsibilities:The employee must be able to handle materials and tools, operate machines, assemble and inspect all products of varying shape, sizes and weights.The employee must perform the above within acceptable quality, quantity, performance and safety standards.The employee must perform his/her job within acceptable safety, environmental, quality, productivity and performance standards as outlined in plant policies, handbooks, and applicable work instructions.Overtime as required/requested.Additional Duties and Responsibilities:Clean the machine and surrounding work area.Operate machines as assigned to assist co-workers at other workstations as needed.Perform or assist in part changeovers.Critical Skills/Qualifications:The employee must have a high school diploma or GED in hand.Ability to read and understand work orders, machine manuals, directions, charts, and safety regulations.Basic math skillsAbility to work well with othersMust pass a Drug Screen and have acceptable Background1st – 6:30PM – 2:45PM2nd Shift – 2:30PM- 10:45PM3rd Shift – 10:30PM – 6:45AM$18.00 per hour – ($27.00 /hr for OT)1st and 3rd shift 8 hr shifts for now.3rd week of September we will go to 12 hr shift- rotation.
