Job Title: Machine Operator 1
Location: Canaan, CT 06018
Pay Rate: $26+/hour plus 10% shift differential
Shift: 7:00 PM-7:00 AM
Training: Day-shift training for approximately 3 months before transitioning to nights
Job Description
We are seeking a Machine Operator to support manufacturing and production operations. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience and be able to follow standard operating procedures while maintaining quality and accurate production records.
Responsibilities
* Perform routine production and machine operation tasks.
* Support filling, assembly, packaging, labeling, and inspection activities.
* Maintain accurate production records and logs.
* Follow SOPs, GMP, FDA, and applicable quality requirements.
* Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met.
* Work with team members to meet production goals.
* Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
* Rotate between tasks and support different production activities as needed.
Requirements
* Manufacturing experience is mandatory.
* High school diploma/GED preferred.
* Must be able to read and write English.
* Ability to follow instructions and maintain production records.
* Must be flexible with rotating tasks and extended hours when needed.
* Must complete approximately three months of day-shift training before transitioning to nights.
* Candidates should live within approximately 45 minutes of the site.
* Background clearance required before starting.
