This facility operates six days a week and produces Corn Dogs.Position SummaryPosition is responsible for operating production machine equipment such as Blenders, Mixers, and other equipment as assigned.ResponsibilitiesInterpret daily production scheduleOperate assigned production equipment per product specificationsDetermine equipment adjustments and material requirementsCompile and record production data and reports on volume of productionPrepare equipment for production and test runsPerform troubleshooting and preventing maintenanceOperate and observe equipment operation to detect work piece defects or equipment malfunction, and measure work piece dimensions to determine accuracyEnsure work area is clean at all timesRecord keeping and attention to detailFollow department standardsPhysical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.Requirements3-Month Operator experience must be listed in job historyAbility to push, pull, and lift up to 45 pounds repeatedly during shiftSome areas must require repetitive lifting up to 75 pounds during shiftMust stand on hard concrete floors for up to 10 hours per dayMust work in cold/hot temperatures ranging from 40-75 degrees on a routine basisMust work in wet and/or humid conditions, slippery floors in some areasRepetitive bending, reaching, squatting, gripping, and pinching, climbing stairs and/or laddersUse of Personal Protective EquipmentWet and/or humid conditions, slippery floors in some areasPosition will require Lock Out Tag Out certificationKnowledge of basic food processing compliance, FDA, USDA, and EPA is preferredMust be able to work overtime and weekends and other duties as assigned by ManagementRelocation Assistance Eligible: NoWork Shift: 2ND SHIFT (United States of America)Hourly Applicants ONLY - You must complete the task after submitting your application to provide additional information to be considered for employment.Tyson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
