MACHINE OPERATOR - PLATING 1st shift days

Machine Operator / Production OperatorActively involved in all duties for procedures related to plating processing a variety of circuit board to obtain multiple finishes for electrical conductivity.Essential duties and responsibilities include:Prepare tanks by removing residue, checking anodes and making necessary additions.Setting proper temperatures and cycle times.Prepare the surface of the board through various cleaning processes.Verify quality requirements to finished product.Operator may be trained on the following processes as deemed necessary: Black Oxide, Deburr, Desmear/Electroless Copper, Pattern Plating, Nickel/Gold, Black Hole, Etchers, Silver and Resist Strip.Organizational relationships include reporting to department supervisor and Director of Operations.Qualifications include a high school diploma.Physical demands require standing for long periods of time and exertion of up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, copiers, and FAX machines is required.

Use of plating thickness instruments including microscope, fixture and hand tools so good vision and dexterity required.Work environment is in a manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, dirt and chemicals.Work schedule is Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. with some overtime available during the week, and occasional half days on Saturdays.
