Machine Operator

Machine OperatorWe are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to set up and operate various production equipment including Press Brake, Shear, Ironworker, Saw, Spot Welder, and Tumbler.

The role involves managing time effectively to operate several machines during a shift, safely handling raw materials, and ensuring all products meet quality standards.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate production equipment such as Press Brake, Shear, Ironworker, Saw, Spot Welder, and Tumbler.Effectively manage time to operate multiple machines during a shift.Operate forklifts safely to load and unload raw materials and completed parts.Utilize overhead and jib cranes to move materials safely.Handle assorted steel raw materials and steel scrap.Maintain a clean and orderly work area and production equipment.Follow all prescribed and standard safety regulations.Ensure all products conform to prescribed quality standards.Perform light maintenance on plant equipment, including startup/shutdown and lockout/tagout procedures.Use ERP systems for clocking in, logging jobs, and claiming parts.Operate small electric and air hand tools.Produce quality parts that meet prescribed quality standards and print specifications.Package parts using banding or shrink wrap as needed.Participate in and support continuous process improvement.Essential SkillsExperience with Mig, Welding, Fabrication, Mig welding, Blueprint, Weld, Tig, Mig welder, Flux core.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience as a machine operator.Why Work Here?Join a supportive team that values continuous improvement and quality workmanship. Employees are expected to adhere to a safe dress code appropriate for operating machinery.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Paynesville, MN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
