Machine Operator / Panel Line Catcher - 2nd & 3rd Shift
Location: Gary, IN
Pay: $18/hour during 2nd shift training → $19/hour when moved to 3rd shift
Schedule:
* Training: 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM-1:00 AM, Monday-Friday for approximately 1-2 months
* After Training: 3rd Shift, 10:00 PM-6:30 AM, Monday-Friday
Job Description
Catch and prepare corrugated paper products at the finishing stage while ensuring they meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Responsibilities
* Catch finished products from the panel line, with safety as the top priority.
* Check finished products for quality and customer specifications.
* Strap and wrap products according to customer requirements.
* Keep the panel line area clean and free of debris.
* Assist in other plant areas as needed.
Requirements
* Ability to read and understand a product master.
* Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
* Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
* Ability to read and use a tape measure.
* Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
* Ability to regularly lift 25-50 lbs.
