Machine OperatorThe Machine Operator performs a wide range of production tasks to support efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing. This role operates various machines and tools, follows standard work methods, and adheres to safety and quality procedures while producing and packaging products according to verbal and written instructions.ResponsibilitiesOperate production equipment and machinery to perform tasks such as annealing, blanking, breakdown, burnishing, coining, milling, packaging, polishing, rolling, weighing, and other assigned operations.Follow standard work methods and safety procedures to ensure production runs efficiently and safely at all times.Use special or standard hand tools and power tools as required to complete recurring production tasks.Produce products according to verbal instructions, written work orders, and daily production schedules.Monitor and correctly use gauges, machines, and equipment to maintain product quality and consistency.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including keeping equipment and workstations in orderly condition.Accurately complete required paperwork and production documentation in a timely manner.Maintain a sterile environment as required, including changing gloves continuously and following cleanliness standards.Communicate clearly and professionally with co-workers and supervisors to coordinate work and address issues.Arrive on time and be ready to begin work at the start of each shift.Work with minimal supervision while staying focused and productive throughout the shift.Lift, move, and handle materials and products as needed to support production flow.Perform other duties as assigned to support overall production and facility operations.Essential SkillsProven ability to perform recurring production work requiring mechanical aptitude.Experience with general machine operation and production processes.Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.Ability to read and follow work orders and daily production schedules.Strong attention to detail with an understanding of quality standards.Ability to correctly monitor and use gauges, machines, and equipment.Basic math skills to support production and documentation tasks.Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.Ability to use hands and arms continuously during the shift.Ability to lift at least 35 pounds on a continuous basis.Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, and push carts, with or without assistance, as needed throughout the shift.Ability to maintain focus and work safely at all times.Ability to accurately complete required paperwork and records.Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and quality.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Henderson, NV.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
