Machine OperatorThe Lumber Manufactory (TLM) is building the future of sustainable lumber with next-generation sawmill technology. We design and operate state-of-the-art modular sawmills that produce high-grade dimensional wood products with greater efficiency and less waste. We're hiring Machine Operators to run the saws, conveyors, and sorting equipment that turn logs into lumber at our New Albany mill. If you like running equipment and figuring out why something isn't working right, this is a good fit.

Experience helps, but we train the right people.What you'll doOperate sawmill machinery, including saws, conveyors, and sorting systemsFeed and align logs, and adjust settings to keep production running smoothlyCheck logs and lumber for quality as they move through the lineHandle routine upkeep and minor fixes, and report bigger issues to maintenanceFollow safety procedures and lockout/tagout every timeWhat we're looking forExperience running industrial, manufacturing, or sawmill equipment is a plusMechanical aptitude and a knack for troubleshootingAttention to detail and comfort in a fast-paced, physical environmentDependable attendance and reliable transportation to the millAble to pass a background checkSchedule and pay: Full-time. Multiple shifts available, including days. We'll talk through what works for you during your interview. Starting pay $16+/hr.
