This position is responsible for operating or assisting in a direct mail manufacturing environment with a focus on reduction in cost related errors, exceeding client expectation, and driving a safe workplace. Looking for a long-term career, look no further.10 hour shift - 3PM - 1AMGrowing Organization!Benefits after 60 days!Responsibilities and ActivitiesOperates and maintains equipmentPerforms adjustments on machine per job instructionsMeets and exceed production standards and maintaining customer quality requirementsCommunicates job status and production concerns/issues during shift changeFollows all safety policies and proceduresAdheres to all current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Troubleshoots problems with minimum delay timeCommunicates with Management on any problems developing and corrective actionWorks with urgency when equipment is down to maintain production requirementsContinues learning new and improved processes to achieve increased productionFacilitates teamwork among team members and between shiftsPerforms additional responsibilities as required to ensure the team's success.QualificationsEducation:High school diploma or GEDWork Experience:2 years manufacturing experience (preferred)Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Demonstrated manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude, and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to install, maintain, and repair equipment following safety guidelines.Knowledge of predictive and productive maintenance systemsAble to stand for long periods, bend, and perform repetitive motions.Able to move and lift 25 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally.Able to stand on concrete for 10-12 hours.Willingness to work overtime when needed.Reliable, punctual, and able to follow written and verbal instructions. Willingness to learn, develop new skills, and be accountable for qualityEffective communicator with good interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Adherence to safety procedures (including lock-out/tag-out and HazCom) and departmental SOPs.
