Machine OperatorThe Machine Operator is responsible for operating machinery in a safe and efficient manner and producing product per customer specification.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Operate production equipment to produce products in accordance with production needs.Complete equipment set-ups in accordance with customer specifications and quality procedures.Produce assigned products in accordance with verbal and written instructions.Record length of time and quantity of materials used for each job.Inspect parts and document findings on appropriate paperwork as needed.Notify management of product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions and/or personal injuries.Adhere to established policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.Maintain work areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas.Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.Rubber machine operator (molding) position requires heat resist sleeves & gloves, safety glasses, and during set up steel toe tips.Seals machine operator position requires safety glasses, ear plugs and during set up steel toe tipsRequired to wear proper gowning for specific areasMaintain good housekeeping and EHS requirementsPerform other related duties as assigned.Education and/or Experience:High School diploma, GED or equivalent3-5 years of proven Machine Operator experienceMS Office Suite, SAP a plusUnderstands the basic concepts of manufacturing* Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be substitute at management discretion.Work Environment / Conditions / Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to lift at times up to 15lbs.These are considered essential duties and are illustrative of those job tasks, which are fundamental.
