Job TitleJob DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Perform routine and non-routine cleaning tasks along with other staff on Meltblown equipment assuring their ongoing cleanlinessAbility to set-up, operate and troubleshoot and/or make proper machine adjustments to the process to produce quality product that meets and/or exceeds customer expectationsUnderstand and be able to do basic upkeep and troubleshooting on the following equipment:Meltblown machines in total including all sub-systemsTSI TestersCuttersPressesResin drying equipmentResin mixing equipmentSilo and sensor for silo depthCollaborate with and support engineering from Neillsville and Stoughton with new processes and productsDirectly engage engineering and maintenance in a timely manner to assist with issuesAssist in creation of documentation for existing and new processes and proceduresProperly complete all documentation within the department including quality records, maintenance logs, production logs, 5S scores, etc as directedUnderstand and apply media specifications as needed to maintain product quality.Assist in managing scrap amounts by promptly addressing causes of scrap including involving engineering or maintenanceCalibrate machines and testing equipment per schedule and as needed, perform quality test procedures as required.Support and maintain OE initiatives throughout designated work areaResponsible for completing weekly and monthly Preventative Maintenance on equipment.Apply all safety, quality, ITAR, and other plant processes and procedures to the productsKeep department organized and focused to meet production demands (5S – Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)Communicate effectively with department, maintenance, engineering, plant leadership, and any other co-workersDemonstrated ability to perform critical job functions (as outlined above) and train new employees in the department.Other duties as assigned by the team leader or managerQualifications:Ability to follow directions, read blueprints, job data sheets, safety instructions, etcGood written and oral communication skillsMust be a quick learner with strong problem solving skillsMust be very adaptive to change and be an active change agentMust be motivated and self-driven, able to work with minimal supervisionEducation & Experience:1-2 years experience working in a similar position is preferredPhysical Requirements:Must be able to walk/stand at least 75% of the time including during required overtime hours.Must be able to lift up to 35 lbsResponsibilitiesHealth, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards. Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet manufacturing goals. Works with peers and all levels of the organization to maintain process performance.
