We take pride in a strong manufacturing culture, a commitment to quality, and an environment where employees can help create products used in critical, real-world applications.If you're looking to grow your career with a company that's forward-thinking, hands-on, and deeply committed to excellence, TCI is the place to build your future.Summary - Job Responsibilities – Activities:Completes extrusion equipment set-ups, start-ups, change-overs and shut-downs, as required by standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production schedulesPerforms process adjustments as needed to ensure that the product meets dimensional tolerances and visual quality criteriaPerforms on-line product quality inspections, identifies quality issues, and troubleshoots film extrusion process as necessaryMaintains production tooling, dies and other extrusion equipment to ensure best operational condition of the equipment, performs cleaning and light preventive maintenance tasksFills out process records and daily production logs/reports as requiredReports non-conformances and assists Production Management and Process Engineering with technical issuesMentors, supports and assists other extrusion operatorsFollows plant safety procedures and guidelines; informs supervisor of safety issues; reports any workplace injury or incident immediately; wears and utilizes personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.Able to document the overall production process including potential defectsThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
