Machine OperatorThe KS Large Bore Pistons Group is one of the world's leading designers and manufacturers of large-bore pistons. In addition to pistons for conventional fuels, we can also provide product solutions for alternative fuels such as hydrogen, ammonia or methanol.Position Overview:We are looking for Machine Operators for multiple different shifts to join our Operations team!! The Machine Operator sets up and runs assigned CNC machines to produce parts that meet company safety, quality, and production standards, as well as customer specifications and delivery schedules. This role works under the direction of the Operations Supervisor and in accordance with company policies and procedures.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMachine Operation and SetupSet up and operate assigned CNC machines to produce parts that meet company quality and production standardsMake adjustments, offsets, and tool changes as needed throughout the shiftPerform basic daily preventive maintenance, machine care, and cleaning per CIL (Clean, Inspect, Lubricate) standardsQuality and InspectionPerform first-piece and in-process visual and dimensional checks to confirm parts conform to customer specifications, appearance, and finish requirements per Control Plans and Work InstructionsEvaluate production processes and product performance for conformance to the Control Plan and Process StandardsVisually inspect gages per procedure to verify compliance with specificationsCommunication and TeamworkCommunicate with the previous and following shift to share updates and flag issuesWork as part of a team to produce the highest quality product at the lowest possible costNotify shift supervision and technical support of problems and recommend ways to improve productivity and quality while reducing costAssist other operators as needed and support the training and development of employees in the assigned areaDocumentation and ComplianceComplete and maintain all required production paperwork and recordsFollow all safety and work rules; maintain departmental housekeeping standardsMaintain a valid forklift license and assist with material handling as neededQualifications:Requires a high school diploma, equivalent, or relevant experienceBasic math experienceAbility to perform the operation sequence of processes using standard instructionsAbility to obtain a forklift license by KSLP standardsBackground in Manufacturing is idealAbility to use small hand tools, hand gauges, and read blueprintsExperience with robotics preferred but not requiredFamiliarity with metric system is ideal but not requiredBenefits:Sign-on bonusPaid Time Off accrual begins on date of hireUse of company clinic and onsite physical therapy with or without KSLP insurance coverage upon hireMedical, Dental, and Vision insurance upon hire401k and employer matchWork shoe reimbursement programTuition reimbursement programReferral programFitness reimbursement programOvertime hoursKS Large Bore Pistons is an equal opportunity employer.
