This is a potential to hire position for all shifts, apply today!Wage: $16.75 - $18.75/HourShift: 3rdHours: 1st: 06:00 am - 02:00 pm 1st, 2nd: 02:00 pm - 10:00 pm 3rd: 10:00 pm - 06:00 amMachine Operator Responsibilities:- Performs typical machine operations to support production and shipping. - Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required per the P.M. charts. Must be able to perform but not limited to the following tasks: de-burring, molding and all bench operations and inspect. Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regard to machine set-up.
Must be familiar with the basic machine functions in order to perform the tasks stated above.Requirements for Machine Operator:- Minimum of High School Diploma - Prior production experience in a manufacturing setting preferred Mechanical and electrical skills, metal fabrication, ability to read blueprints and schematics preferred Ability to utilize computer platforms to access work instructions Safety Awareness-Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety Ability to read, speak, and comprehend English is required Ability to perform critical thinking and problem solving High attention to detail Ability to perform simple math and measurementsQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
