Machine OperatorThis role operates punch press machinery to produce specialized metal products according to customer blueprints. The Machine Operator ensures parts meet precise specifications through careful measurement, visual inspection, and finishing, while maintaining a safe and efficient workflow in a modern, clean manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesOperate punch press machinery to produce metal components according to production requirements.Read and interpret a variety of customer blueprints to set up and run jobs accurately.Use measuring tools to verify that all products meet specified dimensions and quality standards.Perform visual inspections throughout the production process to identify defects or irregularities.Grind edges and surfaces as needed to achieve required finishes and remove sharp or uneven areas.Handle and lift materials and products weighing up to 50 lbs throughout the workday.Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and efficiency.Follow all plant safety procedures and guidelines while working with metal fabrication equipment.Essential SkillsMinimum of 6 months prior manufacturing experience as a machine operator.Hands-on experience operating punch press or similar production machinery.Ability to read and interpret customer blueprints accurately.Proficiency using measuring tools to confirm product dimensions and tolerances.Capability to perform visual quality inspections and identify defects.Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs repeatedly during the workday.Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.Basic understanding of safety practices in a metal fabrication environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in a metal fabrication or processing plant environment.Comfort working with grinding tools and finishing equipment.Strong work ethic and reliability in meeting production schedules.Willingness to follow established dress code and safety footwear requirements.Why Work Here?Employees work in a recently updated, air-conditioned facility equipped with new machinery and modern amenities.
