Machine Operator

Machine OperatorWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to operate core-making equipment in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating machinery, producing quality cores according to specifications, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperate core-making machines and related manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.Set up, adjust, and monitor machinery according to production requirements.Load and unload materials and components used in the core-making process.Inspect finished cores for quality, dimensions, and defects.Follow work instructions, production schedules, and established quality standards.Make minor machine adjustments as needed and report equipment problems to maintenance or supervision.Maintain accurate production and quality records.Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.Assist with material handling, packaging, and other production activities as needed.Work effectively as part of a production team while meeting productivity and quality goals.QualificationsPrevious manufacturing or machine-operating experience preferred.Experience with core-making, foundry, molding, or similar industrial equipment is a plus.Ability to read and follow work instructions and basic measurements.Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn machine operation and adjustments.Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials as required.Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.Work Environment This position is performed in a manufacturing/production environment and may involve exposure to machinery, noise, dust, heat, and industrial materials. Appropriate personal protective equipment is required
