Don't miss this potential to hire role on 1st shift.Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Set up and operate press brake and other machinery to bend, form, and shape metal sheets and components according to engineering specifications and work ordersSafely load and unload materials onto the machinesMonitor the production process to ensure precision, accuracy, and consistency of fabricated componentsPerform regular quality checks using measuring tools (calipers, gauges) to verify dimensional accuracy and adherence to specificationsEnsure proper material usage and minimize waste through efficient cutting and forming techniquesMake adjustments as needed to maintain product quality and consistencyMachine Operator Requirements:High school degree or equivalentForklift Certified (or the ability to obtain certification)Press brake operation and programming are a plus, but not requiredAbility to consistently lift up to 75 poundsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods throughout the shiftWorking knowledge of basic hand tools, as well as fabrication tools and machineryReliability, hardworking, and a desire to learnAbility to accurately read prints and drawingsAbility to read a tape measure down to 1/32 inchesGood basic math skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to accurately count and verify parts quantitiesIND060 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
