Machine Operator III (Second Shift)

Machine Operator IIIEmerald Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Machine Operator III on its Saline, MI team! This is a second shift opportunity. The Machine Operator III is a senior-level position that performs complex machine operations with a high degree of technical skills including complex setups and adjustments, quality control, real time optimization, routine maintenance and troubleshooting.Responsibilities:Set up, operate, and shut down assigned equipment in accordance with established procedures.Perform basic programming and preventive maintenance tasks; maintain accurate logs and documentation.Ensure all products meet quality specifications and production schedules.Notify the Machine Group Leader of any quality issues or deviations.Profile Wave equipment to achieve proper reflow performance.Handle and dispose of dross from leaded and non-leaded solder in compliance with safety and environmental standards.Maintain fixtures and perform routine fixture maintenance.Replace materials in pressure pots for conformal coating processes.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following safety protocols and using appropriate protective equipment.Support cross-functional teams and assist in continuous improvement initiatives in conformal coating and other production tasks as required.Benefits of the Job:Competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits.Health Savings Account/Flexible Spending Account401K and company matching with no vesting periodPTO for rest and relaxationGym reimbursement (through Anthem)Employee Assistance ProgramA safe and inclusive work environment with team and management supportEmployee training and developmentCommunity service and philanthropic initiativesEmployee appreciation and eventsCareer advancement opportunitiesPet InsuranceEmployee Referral programEmployee discountsQualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards and component identification.Ability to follow detailed written instructions and work with hand tools.Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently.Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.Self-motivated with a collaborative mindset and strong work ethic.Willingness to operate various machines as directed by the supervisor.Physical Demands and Work Environment:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
