Machine Operator III - Laser - 3rd shift (with shift differential)

Machine Operator (Fabricator)As a successful Machine Operator (Fabricator), you will be responsible for all aspects of fabrication, including, but not limited to loading and unloading raw materials and work-in-process parts in a variety of tooling, fixtures, and equipment as needed to meet the needs of our customer. Reviewing blueprints and other technical drawings to ensure proper transformations (cuts, bends, holes, etc) are performed on raw and WIP materials. You will work directly with the facilities and maintenance team to ensure equipment and tools are well-maintained and operating optimally. Additionally, you will ensure all parts fabricated are done so to our quality standards and product specifications.

Completes safety projects as assigned and holds a high safety standard for the teamEnsures targets for Productivity and Quality are met on an hourly and daily basisTechnical Fabrication & Equipment Mastery - Skillfully operate saws, presses, drills, and other fabrication equipment to transform raw materials and sub-assemblies while following technical drawings and maintaining established cycle times to consistently produce high-quality fabricated components across light gauge to heavy gauge materials.Safety Leadership & Production Excellence - Champion fabrication department safety by completing assigned safety projects and maintaining high safety standards for the team while consistently achieving hourly and daily productivity and quality targets through effective process execution and attention to detail.Continuous Improvement & Team Collaboration - Apply mechanical aptitude and lean manufacturing principles to identify process improvements and kaizen opportunities while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and collaborative teamwork to drive business results and support customer success in demanding fabrication environments.RequirementsBasic Qualifications:5+ years of industrial fabrication, ranging from light gauge to heavy gauge materialsSkilled in kaizen / continuous improvement techniques and works to accomplish projects with a lean manufacturing mindsetExpertise in producing quality parts using a wide variety of fixtures, tools and equipment in a fast-paced environmentExcellent problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability and desire to actively train othersGood verbal and written communication skillsAbility to read and understand blueprints and technical drawingsRelated technical ability and good understanding of production processes and equipmentAbility to work well in demanding (physical and mental) situationsPreferred Qualifications:Metal fabrication experience preferred, but not requiredHigh School graduate or equivalentTrade school certificate in related fieldPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions:Being physically present and available at our Monroe locationIndustrial manufacturing environment?Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted, >40 lbs with assistanceLocation:You'll work from our Monroe, WA headquarters every workday.
