Machine Operator IIPanasonic Energy is looking for a Machine Operator II. This role operates one or several lithium-ion battery cell production machines within a variety of departments, including many clean-room environments. Machine types may be inspection, and conveyance machines. Operators also perform related machine and work area upkeep (6S), material movement, conduct basic analysis and sustain production logs. Operators work across a team to ensure safe and high-quality product.Responsibilities include operating one or several lithium-ion battery cell production machines, identifying problems and minor troubleshooting, delivering materials to production floor, analyzing, estimating workload and performing multi-tasking, assisting Maintenance Technicians in preventative maintenance procedures, monitoring processes and performing continuous image inspections and visual quality checks of the products to ensure acceptance standards are met, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.MUST-HAVES: High School Diploma, GED (General Education Development) or 2 years of manufacturing or equivalent experience, 1 year of manufacturing or equivalent experience, working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.NICE-TO-HAVES: Previous experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment, automation, or assembly is preferred. Ability to analyze, estimate workload and perform multi-tasking. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Work within the Metric and Standard systems of measurement.
