Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What You'll Do:Eaton's Electrical division is seeking a Machine Operator II to join our team. This position is at our Reno, NV facility. In this function you will:Understand and proficiently operate assigned machines/pressesTroubleshoot various machinery problemsIdentify and tag tubs according to shop ordersQC and document all parts run on machinesRetrieve and enter data into SAP computer systemInventory components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely productionMaintain a clean work areaQualifications:Basic Qualifications:Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.

Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working in a manufacturing environment.Minimum of six (6) months of experience with forming or bending machines.Minimum of six (6) months of experience reading drawings or blueprints.Experience confirming that parts conform to specs using measuring tools.Skills:Position Criteria:Ability to operate machinery and presses safely.Ability to read, accurately interpret, and produce parts from blueprints and shop drawings.Ability to identify different gauges and types of raw materialAbility to accurately read tape measure, scales, and calipersAbility to work effectively and productively as member of a team with minimal supervision.Physical Requirements:Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift.Able to lift and bend on a continuous basisAble to regularly lift 35 pounds without assistance.Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.Working Conditions:Exposure to cold/heat weather conditions while shipping doors are openFast paced working, while maintaining safety priorities
