Machine Operator IIMachine Operator II is responsible for operating machinery. Role and responsibilities include starting and stopping the machine safely without supervision, controlling and adjusting machine settings, placing raw material or unfinished parts, monitoring machine operation, checking part quality, performing basic maintenance tasks, operating tools and machinery, performing periodic checks on equipment, overseeing the machine while executing tasks, producing quality parts, recording machine actions, keeping a clean and orderly work area, and performing other duties assigned by the Plant Manager.Read and understand drawings, change machine settings to accommodate different sizes and dimensions, understand thread dimensions and terminology, guide Machine Operator I with ongoing obstacles, and understand Custom Pipe part number convention.Qualifications and education requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, willingness to follow work instructions, basic mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, ability to work in a team environment, effective communication skills, and willingness to follow safety protocols.Preferred skills include previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility, familiarity with various manufacturing tools and machinery, willingness to work in shifts including early or late hours, weekends, or overtime, and ability to read, write, and speak in English.Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, and stand or walk for long periods of time.Custom Pipe and Fabrication is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, or veteran status.
