Machine Operator II

Machine Operator IIMachine Operator II is responsible for operating machinery. Role and responsibilities include starting and stopping the machine safely without supervision, controlling and adjusting machine settings, placing raw material or unfinished parts, removing finished parts, monitoring machine operation, checking part quality, performing basic maintenance tasks, operating tools and machinery, performing periodic checks, overseeing the machine, producing quality parts, recording machine actions, keeping a clean and orderly work area, reading and understanding drawings, changing machine settings, understanding thread dimensions, guiding Machine Operator I, understanding custom pipe part number convention, and performing other duties assigned by the Plant Manager.Qualifications and education requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, willingness to follow work instructions, basic mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, effective communication, and adherence to safety protocols. Preferred skills include previous machine operating experience, familiarity with various manufacturing tools and machinery, and the ability to work in shifts including early or late hours, weekends, or overtime.Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, and stand or walk for long periods of time.
