Machine Operator II - One StepThe position involves safely and effectively operating one step equipment, including Nissei and related machinery, to meet production requirements. The incumbent ensures the production of high-quality products in accordance with customer specifications.Essential Responsibilities and Duties:Machine Operation: Ensure machines run smoothly and produce quality products.Quality Monitoring: Perform and document quality checks every hour.Troubleshooting: Address and communicate equipment problems promptly.Cycle Time Checks: Maintain cycle times and machine setup sheets.Record Keeping: Maintain process, maintenance, and machine reference logs.Skills Development: Utilize the Levels Program for skill enhancement.Daily Logs: Document daily activities and equipment downtime.Box Making: Produce boxes as per production needs.Packer Oversight: Supervise packers and ensure quality checks during packaging.Material Handling: Move materials using walk behinds and pallet jacks.Preventive Maintenance: Assist in preventive maintenance activities.Communication: Relay important information to the next shift and relevant personnel.Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a safe and clean work environment.Additional Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.Minimum Qualifications:Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.Experience: 3+ years manufacturing experience required.
Experience in plastics manufacturing and one-step or injection machinery preferred.Interpersonal Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills in English; effective teamwork and interpersonal skills.Technical Skills: Ability to learn and apply SAP system, FMS, RealSPC, and Customer Profiles. Proficient in operating and troubleshooting relevant equipment.
