Machine Operator I - Weekend Night Shift

Machine OperatorThe Machine Operator – Operations I/II/III is responsible for operating machinery to manufacture products in a timely manner while fulfilling quality standards. The Machine Operator – Operations I/II/III will review work instructions, build product per specifications and within tolerances, complete all clean-up and housekeeping procedures, comply with all quality, safety and work rules and regulations including wearing all appropriate PPE.Responsibilities:Proficiently operate basic machinery independently at a defined rate with proper qualityDevelop and maintain an understanding of the products they assemble and how they impact the businessContinuous learning of the principles, practices, and processes of their job as changes require and similar jobsSafely handle materials utilizing proper lifting techniques, including overhead hoists/lift tablesCommunicate hazards and/or equipment issues with leadershipOccasionally provide basic training to employees as neededCross train in different areas within the department and flex to different stations as neededRequirements:High school Diploma or equivalent (GED). 1 year of experience operating relevant machinery or equivalentDetail oriented and organizedWork in a team environment in a professional mannerEffectively communicateUtilize applicable hand tools with precisionPhysical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.

The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds.
