This position requires attention to detail and the ability to comply with basic safety practices and procedures. The schedule for this position is Monday - Thursday, 6:30 am - 5 pm.Challenge Yourself – The Specifics:Operate the production machinery in one or more of the following machine work centers identified and trained by Management: AlphaTech, Linaire, LGP, ACT, and others as processes developPerforms a wide variety of electronic and electromechanical assembly tasks Assembles, tests, and modifies prototypes or custom electronic parts and systems, including soldering wiresWorks from schematics, oral instructions, and existing documentationFollows established procedures and guidelines to check, test, and inspect finished goods before they are shipped from the distribution center to the customer Compares the physical characteristics of products to technical specifications to identify defects; ensuring that the color of wires on the harnesses are recognized in order to solder to proper padsEnsures compliance with all safety regulationsConducts tests on electrical function, reliability, and packaging quality and record resultsSafely and effectively use and operate hand tools such as a soldering iron, heat gun, powered wire stripping machines and other equipment required for the completion of work ordersWork with low voltage electricityDetect and correct quality problems found during the manufacturing processOrganize, stock and issue supplies and equipmentUse tact, initiative, prudence and independent judgment within general policy, procedural and safety guidelinesEstablish, maintain, and foster positive and effective working relationships with Elemental team membersQualificationsYou Have a Unique Combination of Skills, Talents and Mindset, Including Many of the Following:High school diploma/GED, or equivalent experience and training are typically requiredMinimum of one year working in a manufacturing/distribution environment, quality assurance, assembly, testing, or experience working in an environment using hands tools and equipmentMS Office (Word, Excel) and Fishbowl Inventory is a plusExcellent listening and communication (verbal and written) skillsAbility to follow detailed written and verbal instructionsAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentMust have excellent attention to detail, be driven, work well independently, and have a knack for problem solvingKnowledge of electrical/electronic machinery or equipment, preferredAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.The Perks and Benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision, Life/AD&D, Short Term and Long Term Disability Insurance (100% PAID by employer), available first of the month, following the date of hireCompany-matched 401(k) Plan, at 5%, no vesting schedulePaid Time Off (PTO)Volunteer Time Off (VTO)Three Paid Flexible Holiday per yearSeven Paid HolidaysPre-Tax Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) - $200 annual employer contributionCareer Development Plan ProgramDiscounted Corporate Gym Membership at South Reno Athletic ClubTuition AssistanceEmployee DiscountMonthly Birthday Lunch CelebrationsOn-site Snacks and BeveragesEmployee Referral Bonus Program
