Machine Operator I

Job TitlePay Range: $19.85hr - $24.85hrRequirement/Must Have1-2 years of experience operating CNC machines.High School Diploma.Ability to use a computer for production logs.Understanding and knowledge of company procedures and work instructions.Compliance with background and drug screening requirements including SSN verification, education verification, employment verification, and criminal history searches.Ability to pass a 5-panel drug screen (No THC).ResponsibilitiesConduct pre-operations inspections to ensure machine is ready to be operated in a safe and efficient manner.Read and execute daily production schedules as directed by the supervisor.Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points on material or work pieces as guides for subsequent machining.Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machinery.Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut.Operate Mazak or VL86 machinery.Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.Adjust machine controls or control media as required and report problems to the supervisor.Verify conformance of finished work pieces to specifications and stop production if parts are out of specification.Confer with supervisor to resolve machining problems.Produce daily production reports, inspections, and other reports as directed.Maintain a safe and organized workstation and follow all company policies and safety procedures.Due to nature of job The candidate must have Ability to lift 50 lbs.SkillsCNC Machinery.Mazak.VL86.Production Scheduling.Blueprint Reading.Precision Measurement.Machine Calibration.Safety Compliance.Qualification And EducationHigh School Diploma.
