This position is ideal for experienced machine operators, production technicians, or manufacturing associates who have experience operating industrial machinery, automation equipment, and production systems.The Machine Operator will operate MI cable production machinery, monitor production processes, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure all products meet quality control and safety standards.If you have experience in manufacturing, production environments, machine operation, or automated equipment, we encourage you to apply.Benefits & PerksMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) with company matchCompetitive PTO accrual, plus floating holiday and paid volunteer timeKey ResponsibilitiesOperate industrial machinery and MI cable manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.Monitor production processes to ensure output meets specifications and quality standards.Inspect raw materials and finished products to verify compliance with quality requirements.Adjust machine settings and production equipment for different cable sizes and product specifications.Record production data, quality checks, and machine performance information.Perform equipment changeovers, machine adjustments, and minor repairs when necessary.Identify mechanical or equipment issues and communicate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.Test components and finished goods using: Megohmmeter, Low resistance ohmmeter, Multimeter, Hi-Pot tester, Thermal imaging camera, Clamp meter.Prepare materials and components used by automation and production machinery.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.Follow all manufacturing safety procedures and company policies.Required Skills & Qualifications3+ years of machine operator or manufacturing experienceExperience operating industrial machinery or automated equipmentAbility to troubleshoot mechanical issues and production equipmentKnowledge of measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and torque testersAbility to use basic hand tools and mechanical equipmentBasic math and measurement skillsAbility to follow production instructions and technical proceduresAbility to stand, walk, kneel, and work around machinery for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 35 lbsPreferred QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDExperience with automation equipment or automated manufacturing systemsFamiliarity with MI cable production or electrical cable manufacturingAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, or blueprintsStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsWork EnvironmentThis role operates in a manufacturing/industrial production environment with powered automation equipment and machinery.
