Join us in our mission to protect and enhance global food and animal safety!This role follows an onsite model to accommodate business needs while maintaining team collaboration.Pay Rate: $23/hr.Hours: Monday - Thursday; 6am - 4:30pmEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Uses automated equipment to manufacture, assemble, or move parts/kits/productsInspects parts/kits/products to ensure accuracyMay work at different stations to ensure accuracyMaintains equipment and facilitiesResponsible for equipment preventative maintenance of specialized and advanced equipmentPerform tasks according to the appropriate Standard Manufacturing Procedure (SMP) or Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).Follow International Organization for Standardization (ISO) guidelines in the manufacture of all reagents.Use good manufacturing procedures (GMP) and good documentation practices (GDP) in the manufacture of all reagents.Participate in troubleshooting efforts pertaining to product failures.Participate in product/process improvement of current products or processesMaintains the general cleanliness and organization of work areas using lean processes and 5SOperation, maintenance, and calibration of basic equipment necessary to perform job functionsAdheres to any and all safety rules and regulations, including personal protective equipment, proper use of equipment, proper disposal of any and all materials etc.Plans and executes necessary preparatory processes for scheduled manufacturing duties in advanceParticipates in the transfer of products from R&D and/or Manufacturability Support to ManufacturingProposes document updates and improvementsPerform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time, while maintaining attention to detailContinually maintains and monitors machine to ensure it functions properlyAids in Supply ManagementAssist in physical inventories as requiredPerform other duties as assigned by your supervisor and/or managerComply with and promote all corporate handbook policiesComply with, promote, and strive to achieve all corporate and departmental goals.Comply with, promote, and strive to achieve all productivity, quality, and behavior expectations.Skills and Competencies: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Cultural Savvy: Demonstrates and lives One Neogen Pillars of Trust; Openness, Honesty, Credibility, Respect and Service through all actions, behaviors, and communication.Communication: Communicates effectively through all necessary messaging and actively listens to others.Leading Others: Leads by example and creates culture of trust through teamwork.Decision Making and Problem Solving: Identifies information needed and makes timely decisions.
