Job DetailsESSENTIAL DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.Operates various machines within the cellMakes minor adjustments as necessary or notify Lead person or Setup person if a more significant adjustment is requiredMaintains a clean machine and organized work area.Performs preventative maintenance including lubricating machines when neededMakes minor repairs and notifies maintenance for other maintenance needs.Performs variety of tasks such as counting, cleaning, returning gauges and fixtures, transferring of partsUse measuring equipment to maintain close tolerancesFollows schedules and proceduresAdaptable to cell and team concepts as well as cross-trainingSees that all safety guards are in place and in good conditionAssists other operators if necessaryInspects work in progress using equipment necessary and outlined in Quality or work instructions. Responsible for quality of own workForklift (i.e. powered industrial truck) operation.All other duties as assignedSKILLS & COMPETENCIES:Must be proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, specification sheets, and/or mechanical drawings and in precision measurement or become proficient through training.Computer literacyCapable of using measuring instruments, i.e.
