Machine Operator I - 2nd ShiftThis entry-level manufacturing role plays a critical part in supporting Beretta U.S.A.'s production, quality, and delivery commitments. By efficiently operating machining equipment and maintaining consistent production flow, individuals in this role help ensure that precision components are produced accurately, on schedule, and in compliance with strict blueprint and quality standards. The position directly contributes to operational efficiency by reducing downtime, identifying potential issues early in the manufacturing process, and supporting continuous production across multiple machines. Through careful attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality requirements, and clear communication with supervisors, this role helps protect product integrity, minimize scrap or rework, and uphold the company's reputation for reliable, high-quality products. This position is foundational to the manufacturing operation and provides essential support to downstream assembly, inspection, and fulfillment processes.Key responsibilities include operating various machine tools, cleaning machine fixtures, loading raw material, machining parts, tracking production, gauging parts, reporting errors, maintaining work stations, and performing other duties as assigned.No previous training required. On-the-job training is provided.Must be able to stand for the full duration of the shift and perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements required for machine operation and part handling. Strong manual dexterity, fine motor skills, and hand eye coordination are essential, along with sufficient visual acuity to monitor machinery, read gauges, and inspect parts for quality.

The role requires frequent bending, reaching, and occasional squatting, as well as the ability to lift, push, and pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Movement between machines and movement of objects over short distances may also be required.

The role also demands alertness and sustained attention while completing repetitive tasks to ensure quality and safety. Employees must wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing job duties.Within the facility, employees may be exposed to manufacturing noise, airborne liquid chemicals, fine particulate dust, ambient temperatures, and industrial lighting. Work environment is similar to most manufacturing and distribution operations. Employees may be exposed to excessive noise, temperatures, hazards associated with working around moving machinery, exposure to vibrations and shop lighting, humidity, odors, and occasional exposure to chemical hazards. The following Personal Protective Equipment is required: Safety glasses with side shields required when on manufacturing floor. The use of additional personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required when a job task(s) is being completed in or around your assigned department or in another department, this includes safety eyewear, hearing protection, and safety footwear.Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.
