Machine OperatorMachine Operators work on machines to produce quality products safely and efficiently.Duties and ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions:Learns the operation of the equipment.Maintains a correct record-keeping system to ensure production efficiency meets company standardsKnow the functions and processes for efficient operations.Performs start-up procedure for equipmentCompletes all duties and responsibilities following company safety and environmental policies.Work with technicians to make small adjustments and understand where things might go wrongLearn the sounds and mechanics of the machine you are operatingResponsibilities:Communicate with machine technicians to determine needs.Maintains a safe and clean work area.Performs other duties as directed.Keep lots separated and correctly labeled; do not mix lotsFollow safety procedures regarding hoists and other potentially hazardous objectsKeep an eye on the wastewater and other sources of waste streams to let water treatment know what to cleanQualificationsExperience – On-the-job training, some mechanical knowledge preferredEducation – High School diploma or GEDSupervision received – Direct oversight from the SupervisorMental and physical demands – attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination and vision, good math skills, ability to work in a fast-paced production environment, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Confidential data – Access to company intellectual property must remain confidential and cannot be reproduced.***Must be able to pass a drug screening and a background test without felonies***
