Machine Operator IISO and ITAR Compliant Job DescriptionJob InformationJob Title: Machine Operator IDepartment: Production / ManufacturingReports To: Production SupervisorLocation: OnsiteFMLA: Full-Time, Non-ExemptRole PurposeThe Machine Operator I is responsible for performing advanced manufacturing operations related to metal processing and stripping processes. This role ensures products are processed accurately, safely, and in compliance with work order instructions and quality standards while supporting overall production flow and efficiency.Scope & ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:Perform assigned duties in accordance with documented procedures and work instructionsProduction OperationsCut metal materials according to work order instructionsClean metals using dip or conveyor processesPerform operations within strip areasCut and bake metal and perform resist touch-up as requiredMove products to the next operation with complete documentation, including travelers and in-process inspection sheets (signed and dated)Quality & Process ControlEnsure all processes and procedures are followed prior to QA inspectionVerify products meet specifications through in-process checksMaintain accuracy and completeness of all production documentationChemical Handling & MaintenanceClean and change production chemicals according to specifications and schedulesFollow all safety procedures when handling chemicals and operating equipmentTeam Support & CollaborationAssist other departments as needed after completing assigned prioritiesPromote teamwork, cooperation, accountability, and discipline within the production teamSafety & ComplianceMaintain a safe and clean working environmentFollow all company safety policies, SOPs, and applicable regulationsWork Experience & SkillsEducation:High school diploma or equivalent preferredExperience:Prior experience in manufacturing or machine operation preferredSkills / Knowledge:Basic mathematical skillsAbility to read and follow work orders, process instructions, and technical documentationBasic computer skills and familiarity with production documentationExperience working with chemical processes preferredPersonal Attributes:Good attendance and punctualityStrong attention to detailAbility to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)Team-oriented with a strong work ethicAbility to work under direction and adapt to changing prioritiesWorking Conditions & Physical RequirementsWork is primarily performed in a manufacturing environmentRequires sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexesAbility to lift 25+ poundsMay require extended periods of standing or sittingRequires pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and liftingCompliance StatementsEqual Opportunity EmployerEqual Opportunity Employer: Disability/VeteranITAR RequirementsThis position may include access to information that is subject to U.S. export controls.
