This role is responsible for producing high-quality conveyor belt products according to customer specifications, maintaining safe operation of machinery, and ensuring finished assemblies meet quality standards.What will you be doing?Operate conveyor belt punch and slitting machines safely and efficientlyMeasure, cut, slit, and punch conveyor belts to required dimensions and specificationsAssemble conveyor belt components and install mechanical lacing on belt endsInspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and proper alignmentRead and interpret work orders, production schedules, and basic drawingsSet up machines, adjust tooling, and monitor machine performance during operationUse hand tools, measuring tools, and assembly equipment as neededMaintain clean and organized work areas following safety and housekeeping standardsPerform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues promptlyPackage and label completed products for shipment or inventoryFollow company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)Work collaboratively with production and warehouse team members to meet production goalsPerform other duties as assignedWhat do you need to be successful?High school educationPrevious manufacturing, machine operation, or assembly experience preferredMechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power toolsAbility to read tape measures and perform basic math calculations accuratelyStrong attention to detail and quality workmanshipAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsForklift experience is a plusReliable attendance and strong work ethicPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periods during shiftsFrequently lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 lbsAbility to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive tasksComfortable working around industrial machinery and moving equipmentPreferred Skills:Experience with conveyor belt fabrication or industrial belt systemsKnowledge of belt lacing methods and installation toolsExperience operating slitting, cutting, or punching equipmentBasic troubleshooting and machine setup skillsWork Environment:Manufacturing and production facility environmentWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package including medical and dental insurance, life/AD&D insurance, short and long term disability, flexible spending accounts, paid holidays, personal time off, 401(k) and ESOP retirement programs and more!
