3rd Shift Machine Operator/ Grinder Role3rd Shift- 8:00pm to 4:30am. Each new hire is required to go for an Eaton authorized physical (for all roles) at the local Concentra Urgent Care. The address is 1619 South Kentucky St. Suite F-600. (At the intersection of Georgia & Kentucky St.) Open M-F Eaton will take care of the payment. Have the candidate inform Concentra that he/she is there for an authorized physical for a paid by Eaton. Arrive at 8 am on the days above to ensure being seen. The standard request is: Pulmonary function test Chest X-Ray Reading of the chest x-ray Physical OSHA questionnaire Fit Test - Large Fit Test – Large. Required PPE- Must have on day 1: Steel toe shoes with metatarsals, Foam lined safety glasses, safety vest, hard hat, hearing protection, face covering/mask (mask is optional). OT is often and sometimes required on weekends.

Sorting and checking, inspection, coordinated rapid movement, tool-related assembly (if job requires the use of hand tools). Sets up and operates machine to perform job specifications. Skillfully uses machine tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments. May need to be familiar with the metric measuring systems. Possesses an understanding of machine functions and specification standards. Knowledgeable of assembly and repair techniques required. May require personal safety equipment such as safety glasses w/ foam, goggles, dust masks or respirators or face shield. Job title specifications include: Sanding, Grinding, Polishing, Welding, NC/CNC, Deburring, Machine Tools, Automated Manufacturing Systems, Milling, Semiconductor Bonding, Semiconductor Wafers.A. Visually inspect and manually sort castings according to finishing needs.

B. Use snag grinder and/or face grinder to remove casting defects following established procedures. C. Place castings in appropriate containers to prevent product mixing. D. Perform a variety of duties to clean castings using shot-blasting machine. E. Direct castings from conveyor into tubs on the shakeout operation. F. Handle castings and visually inspect and sort castings according to finishing needs.

G. Perform material handling duties as required. H. Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner. I. Primarily working in grinding and machining area. May flex at times to foundry to work in core department on core machine and conduct additional cleaning in that area. Grinders/Machine Operators require 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting.
