Machine Operator I - 2nd ShiftEaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Machine Operator I - 2nd Shift at our Troy, IL facility! The core hours Monday - Friday, 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.The hourly rate for this position is 24.87/hr per hour, plus a $0.50 shift differential. Machine Operator's follow a wage progression schedule and will reach $26.61 per hour after 10 months.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. In this function, you will:Work with flat sheet metal (steel and aluminum)Run various machine operations (brake press, hammer flanger, buffalo roller, hand scribing & hand sheering)Safety & Quality Training necessary, but not limited to:Types of Mechanical Power PressesSafe Guarding RequirementsTrip DevicesPress InspectionsDye SettingLight Curtain Blanking ProcedureBasic Operating ControlsFirst Piece Quality InspectionIn-process Quality InspectionLinknet trainingLaser Operator TrainingQualifications:Basic Qualifications:A minimum of 6 months Machine Operating experience in a manufacturing environment.Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
